Windows 7 the most anticipated bug fix of the year – Computerworld Blogs

According to some who read the tea-leaves in the whacky world of Windows, version 7′s release candidate is just days away from public availability.  Whilst I think it’s nice that my Windows friends have new toys to look forward to I think it’s odd that there’s quite so much excitement over what seems to be mainly a bug fix release.  The real “buzz” around Windows 7 is that it finally works, not that it contains any great new ground-breaking features.  Maybe bug fixing is what passes for “innovation” in Redmond these days.
