Round 10 of the F1 season was a thriller. Nine of the finishers received a post-race 5 sec penalty for a scrum to the pits as the safety car came out in response to Mark Webber taking his RBR Renault for a sky diving lesson..
Alonso came in a tardy eighth and of course blamed everybody else for his failure (surprise).

A despondent Lewis Hamilton walks back to the pits after slamming his McLaren into the barrier after he lost the back end of the car on the entrance to the Mirabeau corner. Jenson Button must be the happiest man in motor racing this weekend. He picked up another 10 championship points after a spectacular win at the Circuit de Catalunya, his 4th win out of the 5 races run so far this season.
This season couldn’t be going better for Jenson Button and the Brawn GP team. Button takes pole position in Barcelona making it his 3rd time in the front spot out of 5 races. It’s incredible to think that just weeks before the start of the season it was very uncertain whether Jenson would have a driving contract or even if the Brawn GP team would exist.
